I moved to Prince Edward Island from Montreal in January 2022, fulfilling a lifelong dream of living the Island life. I feel very fortunate to call PEI home, to be close to my extended family, and to live in such a beautiful province filled with wonderful people. I have two grown children — one who lives here in PEI and the other who is still in Montreal.

After many years working in Human Resources, administration, bookkeeping, and marketing, I am now retired and fortunate to be able to work full-time as a Marriage Commissioner.

I performed my first wedding ceremony in Montreal in 2016, and I’ve been hooked ever since. Being asked to be part of such an important day in a couple’s life is a wonderful experience and a great privilege. I love getting to know couples, hearing their stories, and helping create a ceremony that feels like it belongs to them.

When I moved to PEI, I wasn’t planning to continue as a Marriage Commissioner. That changed when my daughter asked me to officiate her wedding. It was incredibly special to share such an important moment with her and my son-in-law.

That experience reminded me just how much I love being an officiant. I became licensed in PEI and decided to continue doing what I love — helping couples celebrate their love and begin their lives together.

Now that I’m retired, I’m able to devote my time to something that brings me so much joy. Whether you are planning an intimate ceremony, an elopement, or a larger celebration surrounded by family and friends, I would be honoured to be the person leading your ceremony.

I believe every couple deserves a ceremony that reflects who they are, the love they share, and the life they are building together.
